“I’m going to San Francisco to drink wine in a fort the weekend after Zac Efron movie night.”
If I get to say sentences like that, then I must be doing something right with this life of mine.
I’m currently working on a midterm paper due tomorrow. After I turn it in, I get to, well, spend all day in class. But, after that, Lisa and I are going to UCLA to see David Gray. David Gray! Who do I talk about more? Who is closer to my little emo heart? No one and no one. I cannot wait. I love live music and I can’t think of anyone I’d rather see ever, but especially right now.
Lisa and I have been planning Charlie St. Cloud movie night for several weeks and it’s finally happening this Saturday. We’ve given up on themed food, and have decided that the wine will be enough to see us through the sad parts. Then we decided that while we’re at it, we should probably also watch High School Musical and just make it a Zac Efron movie night. Pizza and candy will also be required. Basically, we party the same way we did when we were 15. Oh, but with wine now.
Last Monday I was having an awful day and telling Bri all about it when she said “we should have a weekend.” My only question was, “Can there be wine?” (I should probably stop blogging so much about wine.) We went on to other subjects, but when I said later on twitter that I needed a fort and some wine, she was like, “I can do that.” And I was like, “I might be looking at flights now.” And she was like, “do it” and the next day it was done.
So, the weekend after Zac Efron movie night, I will be drinking wine in a fort with Bri. And, I get to meet Katherine, who I have been living vicariously through for weeks now and previously thought I would not be meeting before Vegas.
Oh, and next week is Spring Break, which is not that awesome when you work full time, but I will be working 8 hour days instead of 12, and my evenings will be free. Another win. March, you’re not so bad.
