From My Journal: December 23, 2006

by Ashley on April 20, 2010

“In the last few years I’ve let go of my taboos on swearing and drinking alcohol.  It’s not important to me to maintain my innocent girl persona anymore.  Now I’m just an innocent girl who drinks and sometimes swears.”

hehe! I swear in my head all the time, and the rare time when I swear out loud people are like “who are you??!”

There’s nothing wrong with that. Although the few times when you’ve sworn in your writing I was really surprised for some reason.

I absolutely love this. Thank you.

And yeah, I’m with those who would be surprised to hear you on a swearing tangent.

LOL! I love this because I swear this could be ripped from my journal when I was in maybe 10th/11th grade.

haha…taboo on drinking? I’ve never put a taboo on that, actually ;)

There are certain swear words I just can’t pull off. The F-word would be one one them. But I love the word “asshole.” I think I’ve used that out of frustration before. Oh yes. Of course, there’s always satisfaction in saying british cuss words that aren’t considered bad here, like “bloody hell.” haha.
