Wait a minute, you mean I can’t be a fashionista if I rock some socks with my Birkenstocks?

Cute journal entry. I have written things like this including a pretentious poem about the town I lived in as a child.

Personally, I like both journaling and having conversations with myself.
Not to be pretentious about it.

Ha, there’s nothing wrong with what you wrote. Sometimes it helps to talk, or write, issues over with yourself. I don’t see anything pretentious about it.

We’ve always got to pick on the people who wear socks with Birkenstocks, haha.

I often have conversations with myself (in journals … and maybe sometimes out loud).

Love these journal posts.

You didn’t sound pretentious at all. But you did make me worry that I probably sound really, really pretentious in my journal. I don’t think I’ve been careful enough about that.

I can be very pretentious about how unpretentious I am.

It’s amazing how much more personal a blog entry feels when it’s handwritten material.
