I stayed out with some girlfriends after I told my mom we were home for the night to line dance at a local festival once. That was probably the only bad thing I ever did. I was wild in high school and settled down in college. Sometimes I feel the same way you do, only about college, everyone else is out partying their face off and having SO much fun but not me. I've definitely had my chair of drunken nights in the past three years, but definitely no 3-day benders, or even any 2-day benders really. I have a serious boyfriend and I'm serious about school, so going out has been pushed down on the priority list. I would definitely say I swing back and forth between regretting it and not... Then I transfered schools so I could get a one up on college (my original high school was 5th worse in the state and I transfered to 5th best in the state for academics), where they were all school driven and focused on college - for the most part. I know I was a nerd. I didn't even drink or do anything slightly wild until I went off to college. Even then I was really focused on school. It's funny, because I sometimes wish I hadn't partied/did as much rebellious stuff as I did. Now I must preface everything by saying this is relative for me; partying in my terms was like being in a monastery for others. Maybe I'm just wondering whether or not devoting just a little bit more time to school stuff would have been better. But I think I did pretty well for myself based on where I am today. But I think we all have those sorts of regrets but then you see that you're doing well and happy on the path that you decided to take. But I've definitely thought the same way you did in the past.
