I’m done!!
The semester is over. I work tonight, and then it’s vacation! Friday, I fly home.
This happens at the end of every semester. I swear I never give myself any credit except in retrospect. Now that I’ve finished everything, I’m looking back and thinking, “How did I do that?”
By the time I was finishing my last paper Wednesday night, each word had become painful. When I made it to the end, I didn’t have enough energy to celebrate. But, when I got home from work, I did a few leaps in the air. They were very graceful.
I’m so looking forward to having some time to relax. There will be a lot of eating and drinking. I’m also looking forward to going home, and seeing my family. Thanks so much for all of your nice comments on yesterday’s post. I’m determined to have a good time, and I think I will.
